This wash stopped my hands from peeling and cracking due to dryness. My hand eczema hasn't flared up in two weeks, and I wash my hands more than five times a day for 20 seconds each time. It smells a little weird but it is not very noticeable (unless you sniff it for science). The texture is oily before rinsing, spreads quickly, and it does not bubble/foam (good for sensitive/allergy skin). When rinsing your skin will feel very soft and supple. The liquid is white but turns clear when spread. It also cleanses your face, even zinc sunscreens is easily washed off.

My boys (aged 1 and 3) just love this product! My 1 year old has really bad eczema, and this ointment works a treat. He stopped scratching as soon as it is applied, and I could see the redness gradually goes down during the course of the day. My 3 year old gets eczema flare ups on his face during hayfever season and summer, and is really picky about what cream goes on his face. This is the only product that he is happy to use. I cannot thank Ego enough for keeping my boys happy!

Allergy reaction to it

I got a sample of this product at the chemist, hoping for my eczema skin not to react. Unfortunately, after a few days of use without any other changes in my skin routine, I had a flare up of eczema while using it and it turned my skin. I would recommend people to try it out with a sample first (it seems it has enough product for a week) to prevent spending money on something your skin isn't a fan of. Otherwise, the smell isn't that nice but I am used to this because my eczema is due to alcohol and fragrance in cosmetics. Nonetheless it's a good thing to know if you are sensitive to scent. The product itself cleans well and it leaves an hydrating layer on the skin, so if you don't have any reactions to it you will probably love it. I just wanted to share this with other eczema people, because we know the struggle and pain that comes with it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have dyshidrosis and this is the best thing ever. For years and years I have not been able to fix the dry stage of my fingers after using a small amount of steroid cream for a few days. But I use this and the daily wash for my hands and it feels so good and lasts so long like it's naturally oiled. Amazing product, QV forever.

I have rosacea and my partner has eczema and this ointment has been an absolute game changer for us! Every other moisturiser has inflamed our skin and it has been a real struggle. But finally something that works! 100% would recommend this ointment to rosacea sufferers as well as eczema.

My son’s skin is painful, weeping and covered in sores from his eczema. Tonight, we tried QV Dermcare and it didn’t sting at all. The ointment melts into the skin and soothes the dry, itchy, red, inflamed skin. We look forward to seeing how it looks tomorrow.

Excellent in the management of dermatitis conditions in a variety of age groups as it contains 3 ceramides and occludes the skin. This has been a wonderful option for those who require help for topical steroid withdrawal.

My son has always had eczema prone skin and we've struggled to find a product he doesn't complain about applying. The sting-free ointment is perfect and works incredibly well and the flare-ups have stopped since using it!
